Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice are ‘firmly back in fold’ after latest royal appearance

Prince Andrew, Fergie and Princess Beatrice are “firmly back in the fold” following their latest royal appearance, according to a royal source.

The Duchess of York and her ex-husband, Prince Andrew attended a memorial service for the late King of Greece with their daughter Princess Beatrice yesterday.

During the service, Prince Andrew sat in the front row just five seats away from Queen Camilla.

The Duchess of York was sat in the row behind along with Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Sarah and Andrew’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie was absent from the memorial service for the King’s second cousin.

A source has claimed that this appearance signifies that: “Prince Andrew and the Yorks are firmly back in the fold.”

Prince Andrew is no longer a working member of the Royal Family after being stripped of his HRH and military titles by the Queen just two years ago.

The palace has made no indication that Andrew will return as a working member following his Newsnight interview where he discussed his friendship with the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice are also not working members of the Royal Family and do not undertake royal duties, but they do attend family events.

A source told The Daily Mail: “There’s a feeling that, no matter what Sarah’s personal faults – and she can be like Marmite in that respect – she has been a good mother to the girls and loyal to Andrew.”

Fergie and Prince Andrew also appeared with the rest of the Royal Family at Sandringham on Christmas Day 2023.

Ferguson, 64, last appeared with the Royal Family on the festive day in 1991- over 30 years ago.

Prince Andrew continues to cohabitate with Fergie at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, despite divorcing in 1996.

The Duchess of York was out of the family fold for many years following her split with Prince Andrew.

She was not invited to Prince William and Kate’s wedding in 2011 and her daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, attended Royal Family celebrations without her.

Last month, the duchess was diagnosed with an aggressive form of skin cancer, only six months after she was treated for breast cancer.
