Last year, the star revealed he nearly died after suffering with respiratory failure following his vaping addiction. He told The Sun on Sunday in June: “I was dead — it’s a miracle I’m here.”

The actor collapsed and was rushed to hospital where he spent a week in intensive care and contracted pneumonia.

Speaking about what happened at the time, he said: “I’m upstairs puffing away on my vape then suddenly I lost my breath and collapsed. My family called for an ambulance and started giving me CPR, then police arrived and took over before paramedics took me to hospital. I was on a machine in ICU and ended up with pneumonia. My family were warned I might not make it through the night. I’m so lucky.”

In the same interview, the reality TV star spoke about how he become “obsessed” with “disposable vapes” and would even go to sleep with it.
