A golden opportunity goes begging for Heung-min Son who is played through by Kulusevski.

After making the jump from Nottingham to Tottenham, Carragher believes the pacy winger is a massive prospect.

‘It’s bits and pieces as I’m sure the manager would have explained to him when he made that move to Big Jump up from Nottingham Forest to Tottenham.

‘But I’m a big fan. He’s got huge pace. He was fantastic here last season, hence why he gets the move.

‘And it is a modern day attack.It’s not just he’s a right winger, he can play on the left and play through the middle. And that’s what managers want, a bit like Son.’

Speaking to Sky Sports, the former Man United defender believes Forest – who sit 16th in the table – will stick with Steve Cooper.

‘I thought they were done last year when I watched them play against United in the Carabao cup semi final. I thought they were really poor thought they were struggling defensively.

‘Then from somewhere, they just started to get results from nowhere, mainly here.

‘So I don’t think they’ll panic, He’s got the backing of the crowd and the fact they’ve been here before does help.’

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has said he is not shying away from talk over his future as the club’s manager.

Asked about his future, he told Sky Sports: ‘I don’t listen to it, I get asked by all your colleagues and wherever and I’m not putting on a sort of brave face or hiding away from it.

‘I’ve sort of learned quickly to hide it away. To be honest, I think as a manager, you’re always under pressure. And probably the most pressure I felt in this job is when I first took over because of where the club was.

‘It’s a relentless and ruthless League. There’s no doubt about that. And for me, you’ve always got to look forward, stay true to yourself and believe that you can, you can do well in the next game.’

After being sold for £47.5m to Tottenham, Brennan Johnson will face his old side tonight.
