Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni appeared to become embroiled in a furious argument with his own fans on Sunday.

Eagles fans, fed up with Sirianni since last season’s late collapse, booed the team off the field despite winning against the Cleveland Browns.

The more passionate ones even started a ‘Fire Nick!’ chant, while those at home wondered on social media if a coach could get fired at halftime.

The spotlight has been on Sirianni so far this season after their humiliating collapse last year that saw them go from Super Bowl contenders to being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

The Eagles were 2-2 going into Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns and were yet to win at Lincoln Financial Field this season but managed to get over the line with a 20-16 win.

Footage showed Sirianni taunt a section of home fans sat behind his team’s sideline as the clocked ticked down on their victory.

He put his finger to his ear before shouting something at them before walking back to the sideline.

Despite not impressing their fans, the Eagles managed to beat the Browns 20-16 thanks to DeVonta Smith’s touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns, including a go-ahead 45-yard toss to Smith in the fourth quarter.

Hurts also threw a 22-yard touchdown to A.J. Brown, who returned along with Smith after both wide receivers missed time with injuries.

Trailing 20-13, the Browns moved into Eagles territory late in the game, only to settle for Dustin Hopkins’ 31-yard field goal.

The Eagles took over with 3:54 remaining and didn’t let Cleveland get the ball back, with Hurts finding Brown for a 40-yard gain to put the game away.

Sirianni promised changes coming out of the bye week and he delivered with a bold new haircut.

On the field, it was mostly the same old Eagles, who turned running back Saquon Barkley into a bystander, couldn’t get Hurts to consistently connect with his star receivers, and had underwhelming execution.
