San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa delivered a clear message during Sunday Night Football ahead of the US presidential election.
With voters across America set to hit the polls in just over a week’s time, the defensive lineman made it clear who he will be casting his ballot for.
The 27-year-old crashed teammates Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo’s post-win interview live on NBC to show his support for Donald Trump.
Bosa interrupted the interview to poke his head between the quarterback and reporter Melissa Stark to show off his cap, which read, ‘Make America Great Again’ – the infamous slogan of the Republican candidate.
He repeatedly pointed to the cap, before Stark laughed off the interruption, saying: ‘Alright, Nick Bosa with a message there.’

The Fort Lauderdale native’s teammates looked sheepish as they quietly chuckled at his antics.
Bosa has been an outspoken proponent of the former president in the past – tweeting out pro-Trump content before being picked second overall by the 49ers in 2019.
The pass rusher was the 49ers’ second overall pick during the 2019 NFL Draft, much to the ire of the team’s more liberal fans.
Some 49ers fans reacted with fury over the San Francisco team’s decision to draft Bosa, due to his reputation as a Trump supporter and his history of ‘insensitive’ posts on social media.
Aside from supporting Trump’s presidency, Bosa had a history of tweeting negative statements about black pop culture icons and entertainment properties — posts which his agent scrubbed from his online presence amid his 2019 draft prospects.
Among his deleted tweets were statements in which he called activist and former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick a ‘clown,’ wrote NBA star Dwyane Wade ‘looks like a parrot fish’ and noted that Black Panther was the ‘worst Marvel movie.’
He also tweeted that ‘Beyonce’s music is complete trash’ in 2016, just six days after she released her album Lemonade, featuring the politically-charged song Formation. Earlier in the year, Beyonce had faced criticism for wearing a Black Panther-inspired outfit and performing Formation during the Super Bowl halftime show.
Over the years, Bosa has also made no bones about supporting Trump, tweeting ‘Love this man’ while retweeting a video of Trump’s weekly address and posting a photo of himself giving the thumbs up next to a cardboard cutout of Trump.

Bosa, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was also quoted as saying that he’s a ‘big fan’ of Trump, adding, ‘He brings a charisma that no other candidate has [had] in my lifetime,’ according to SF Gate.
Since his 2019 selection, he has kept his political beliefs slightly more toned down than before he was drafted.
Earlier this year, he had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the former president as he and fellow NFL star Joe Burrow greeted Trump at a UFC event.
The three of them spoke briefly ringside before taking a picture, which was posted to the account of Trump advisor Dan Scavino Jr.
