NFL free agent Chandler Jones added to his tattoo collection this week as he got ‘Messiah’ inked on his forehead.
The 33-year-old, who was released by the Las Vegas Raiders in September following a string of troubling incidents, showed himself getting the word forever inked onto his head on Wednesday.
The former Arizona Cardinals defensive end shared a video to his Instagram story of the tattoo artist putting the needle to his head and he calmly laid back.
Jones also bragged about barely feeling the pain as he got the artist to tell his followers that he hadn’t put any numbing cream on.
As he exited the parlor, Jones filmed himself telling his fans that he heard the voice of his later mother, Camille, to stop getting tattoos as he chuckled, adding, ‘Sorry mama.’

In the post prior to the clip of Jones getting inked, he shared the definition of the word ‘Messiah.’
He screenshotted the Google result for the word, highlighting the section that read: ‘The expected king and deliverer of the Jews.’
Jones also focused on a passage that described a messiah as someone ‘expected to do wonderful things, especially to rescue people from a very difficult or dangerous situation, or that they are thought to have done these things.’
The art on his head isn’t the only new addition as Jones also got ‘Beyoncé Giselle Knowles’ tattooed onto his arm in a tribute to the singer, according to TMZ.
It comes after a series of disturbing clashes Jones has had with law enforcement over the course of the end of last year.
In the most recent incident, Jones could be heard screaming at officers in footage he shared to his Instagram account.
‘Mr. Jones, we’ve got to talk about why we’re here now,’ one officer is seen saying before a voice, presumably belonging to Jones, began screaming.
‘Wait!’ Jones is heard yelling as officers approached him. ‘Wait, no!’

One officer is heard telling Jones that they are ‘there to help’ but the shaky footage cuts out shortly after.
The troubled NFL free agent appears to have recorded the exchange with Maricopa County (Arizona) police, which took place on November 27 and did not result in arrest, department spokespeople told DailyMail.com.
According to another video posted online by Jones, police also paid a visit to him recently to discuss an outdoor fire he had built.
‘We got a phone call that you were burning your furniture,’ the officers told Jones in the strange clip.
This is the latest in a string of run-ins with police Jones has had in recent months following his release from the Raiders.
Jones has faced questions about his mental stability for months after the Raiders sidelined him with a non-football injury to start the season. Since then, he’s posted on social media regarding a series of disturbing subjects.
This behavior continued in September when he appeared to suggest that Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels somehow staged Hernandez’s 2017 suicide in a Massachusetts prison. Hernandez, a New England Patriots tight end, hanged himself in 2017 following his arrest and conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd. McDaniels worked directly with Hernandez during the troubled star’s three-year career from 2010 until 2012.
Jones ignited concerns for his own mental health after posting a rambling, tearful, self-shot social media clip during a breakdown in September. He was later released by the Raiders
Heartbreaking footage from the first of his two recent arrests surfaced in October, showing Jones being taken into custody by police after he allegedly violated a protective order.
Jones, a 33-year-old former All-Pro and Super Bowl champion, has since been released by the Raiders and arrested again for another alleged protection order violation.
The chilling footage shows Jones cooperating with police and remaining friendly as he made a series of bizarre statements, including an accusation that he was injected with something against his will. The former Syracuse star and brother of UFC legend Jon Jones went on to acknowledge that he was violating a protective order, but claimed his ‘baby momma’ told him ‘it was fine.’
He also admitted to taking some of the unidentified woman’s trash, bringing it to his own home and burning some of it before returning the remaining waste to the woman’s home in the moments before his arrest.
