A woman was left shocked after her neighbour tried to “steal” her gardener to attend to her own yard.
She claimed that her neighbour demanded that she was entitled to get the same treatment for free.
Taking to social media, the woman claimed that she lives in a complex where most of the residents are friendly with one another.
After saving up some money, she decided to splash out on a gardener for her own, saying that it had become a mess. For two weeks, someone had been working on her front yard for a couple of hours a day.

She wrote: “One of my neighbours, Jessica, came up to the gardener, which I could see as I have security cameras outside so I can see what’s going on in the driveway. She began complimenting him on his great work. I popped my head out so I could hear what was being said but they couldn’t see me.
“She started getting overly complimentary and I had a sneaking suspicion of what she was getting at.”
She then claimed she heard the neighbour asking the gardener to come and tend to her yard afterward, stating that her neighbour wouldn’t mind sharing him.
After confronting Jessica and telling her the gardener’s rates were $30 an hour or $300 for the whole day, she responded, demanding that she have the work done for free – claiming it to be her “responsibility”.

Jessica then went on to claim that because their neighbour Ben mows her lawn for free she should also get to use the gardener for free.
After the confrontation, she claimed that Jessica had “huffed and stomped off” but she was fully expecting her to pipe up again soon.
People reading the Reddit post were left stunned by Jessica’s entitled actions. One person responded: “That’s so disrespectful to the gardener.
“They’re not a slave- they don’t work for free. Wtf? They’re doing a job for people who paid them! She managed to disrespect two people at once.”
Someone else added: “I love people like Ben. I hate when the world expects everyone to be like Ben all the time.
“Or worse yet, as in your case, expect you to foot the bill for their stuff.”
