Utah Jazz star Walker Kessler was left stunned on Sunday night as he watched his girlfriend be named the winner of the Miss America pageant.

Kessler’s girlfriend, Abbie Stockard, previously won Miss Alabama and was among the 52 contestants for Miss America over the weekend.

And Kessler’s awesome reaction to her being crowned the winner was captured on video, as he watched on his phone with Jazz coach Will Hardy.

As Stockard was announced as the winner, a shocked Kessler dropped his phone on the table and put his hand on his head before Hardy congratulated him.

‘She won! Let’s go!,’ the coach beamed.

Kessler was able to celebrate with Stockard after the event, as his team had just finished playing the Orlando Magic, and the pageant happened to be held in Orlando as well.

He later took to Instagram to congratulate her on the feat.

‘Your hard work and trust in the Lord has awarded you with this incredible opportunity! Use your light to shine on others around you! Love you.’

‘Walker! I love you❤️ you showing up last night meant the world to me,’ Stockard replied in the comments. ‘I’m so thankful for this life journey we get to go on together.

It was a good night for both Stockard and Kessler, as the latter’s team beat the Magic 105-92.

Kessler chipped in 10 points and a team-high 17 rebounds in the win, which was only Utah’s ninth of the season.

The Jazz are 9-25 – second-last in the Western Conference – heading into a clash against the Hawks on Tuesday night.
