Mr D secured his win through the National Lottery website, where he selected his winning combination of numbers.

Players who win through the National Lottery’s online platform have three options regarding publicity: they can choose to go public, remain completely anonymous, or opt for partial publicity.

The Plymouth winner chose the middle ground of partial publicity, allowing some details of his win to be shared while maintaining a degree of privacy.

The National Lottery’s digital platform automatically checks tickets and notifies winners via email when they secure a prize.

The winner has revealed plans to use his newfound fortune to jet off to Disneyland.
