Nando’s has added another flavour for hungry diners to choose from as it brings back the Mango & Lime spice.

This will be available in restaurants this week and comes just months after it launched nine new menu items.

The spice will return to menus across the UK and Ireland starting tomorrow, August 15. It was last seen on menus in 2022.

Described as a “fan favourite”, the spice combines Nando’s PERi-PERi with sweet mango and fresh lime for a “fruity but fiery taste”.

However, the restaurant chain stressed it will only be available for a “very limited time”, adding “get it whilst you can, because when it’s gone, it’s gone”.

To celebrate the launch, Nando’s has teamed up with rental e-bike company Lime, hiding Mango & Lime (Bikes) in central London, Milton Keynes and Nottingham.

Diners who track these down can win prizes by taking the bike to a nearby Nando’s and taking a photo of themselves with the bike outside the restaurant.

The competition runs this week, starting from today until Sunday (August 14 to 18). Prizes include £50 to £200 gift cards and three 30 minutes of Lime rides per winner.

This comes as Nando’s recently updated its menu with nine new items ready for summer dining.

This includes a Fully Loaded Wrap – packed with pulled chicken, fresh avocado, pink pickled onions, lettuce, a PERi-PERi crumb and more – and a Spicy Rice bowl, with long-stem broccoli, crunchy rainbow slaw, pickled cauliflower and houmous with PERi-PERi seeds.

Other items include PERi-Chicken Gravy, Mediterranean Salad, Portuguese Tomato Salad, Caesar Salad – £8.75 and XL Wing Platter.

New desserts and drinks are also available as Nando’s launched Bottomless Soft Swirl, Strawberry & Dragonfruit Quencher and a Cloudy Lemonade Quencher.

The bakery company posted: “Say hello to your new favourite doughnuts! From a fruity explosion to triple chocolate heaven and timeless classics, we’ve got every craving covered with eight new flavours and a revamp of some old faves. (Don’t worry, the Original Glazed isn’t going anywhere!).”

Krispy Kreme’s newest doughnuts

  1. Cinnamon Swirl: Freshly hand-rolled in cinnamon sugar while hot off the line, topped with a cream cheese flavour frosting
  2. Strawberry Sprinkles: Hand-dipped in strawberry icing and hand-sprinkled in rainbow sprinkles
  3. Salted Caramel Sensation: A double-filled vegan doughnut brimming with salted caramel and Kreme
  4. White Marble Chocolatta: Hand-dipped in a creamy white chocolatey coating and swirled with milk chocolatey marbling.
  5. Strawberry Sundae: A double filling of strawberry and creamy Kreme. Topped with a white chocolate drizzle
