The mother of a young Taylor Swift fan lifted up by Jason Kelce to wave to her idol at Sunday’s Chiefs-Bills game says her daughter was in ‘absolute heaven’ on the night.
Kelce, who was also seen ripping his shirt off and chugging beer at brother Travis’ playoff game, has been widely praised after a clip of him holding up the girl to get the pop star’s attention went viral online.
After jumping out of his suite at Highmark Stadium, the Philadelphia Eagles veteran spotted the youngster trying to show Swift the sign she had brought to Buffalo, before lifting her up and carrying her towards the entrance.
‘We’re going to show this to Taylor, alright?’ Kelce could be heard saying.
It was an incredible moment which took Jason’s popularity to new heights after he made the young fan’s night – and now her mom has lifted the lid on the surreal experience.

Jessica Piazza, the mother of eight-year-old Ella, told TODAY about how Swift reacted in her suite: ‘She waved back and smiled. And Ella was in absolute heaven.
‘She still probably doesn’t realize what a big star Jason Kelce also is. She just couldn’t believe she saw Taylor! The rest of the game she was on cloud nine.’
In the clip, fans could be heard cheering Kelce’s good deed as he helped Ella’s dreams come true on a freezing night in western New York.
She was said to have worked ‘so hard’ on her Swift-inspired sign before heading to the NFL playoff game, with Jessica adding: ‘The week prior she was telling all her friends at school that she was going to meet Taylor Swift at the game.’
However, Ella and her mom had no idea that Jason would be alongside Taylor in her suite and eventually come to her aid.
In fact, Jessica didn’t even recognize the Eagles center as he jumped down to help her daughter out.
‘I thought it was Ryan Fitzpatrick (former quarterback for Bills) because he has a beard and is always ripping his shirt off,’ she admitted.
‘And then everyone was saying it was Jason Kelce. It all happened so fast! And anyone who is a football fan knows that Jason Kelce is a girl dad, so I knew she was in good hands!’

It was a crazy night for all concerned in Travis Kelce’s suite at Highmark, after the Chiefs tight end enjoyed a brilliant night – right when he needed it most.
Kansas City came through the divisional round match-up 27-24 after Bills kicker Tyler Bass missed a late game-tying field goal, and Kelce himself had two touchdowns and 75 receiving yards from five receptions.
The result ensured Kansas City march on to a sixth consecutive AFC Championship game, as they chase back-to-back Super Bowls.
