Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing “real trouble” over their decision to incorporate their royal titles into their new website, according to a royal insider.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched their new website Sussex.com on Monday.

Harry and Meghan are no longer working members of the Royal Family but have been allowed to retain their Sussex titles.

However, their latest move could force the Royal Family into action according to a source.

The insider told the Mail: ‘They are going to have real trouble with the use of Sussex.

“It is a royal title and if there is any hint of commercialism about this it will be shut down.

“It’s just staggering they cannot see how gauche it is.”

The Sussexes launched their website ahead of a major joint appearance this week.

On Valentine’s Day, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will make their first appearance together since the duke returned from the UK last week.

The couple are scheduled to attend a launch event for the 2025 Invictus Games this week.

The event will take place over three days from February 14 to February 16.

Harry founded the Invictus Games as a working member of the Royal Family and has continued to champion the sporting event despite stepping down from the monarchy in 2020.

The royal and Meghan Markle produced the series Heart of Invictus as part of their Netflix deal.

The five-episode programme followed the 2022 Invictus Games which were hosted in The Hague.

Prince Harry featured throughout the series but it failed to reach the same heights as the Sussexes’ debut Netflix documentary, the self-titled, Harry & Meghan.

The Duke of Sussex recently hired TV executive Scott Moore as the CEO of his first-ever winter edition of Invictus Games.

Moore has forged a reputation for doing big sports deals during his time at CBC, Canada’s public broadcaster.
