GB News presenter Andrew Pierce has urged Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to publish a statement, following the release of Omid Scobie’s latest royal biography, Endgame.
Andrew said: “Isn’t this all the more reason that the Sussexes have to put out a statement saying we publicly disassociate from this title tattle book, which is nasty, vicious, based on all sorts of speculation.
“You and I know stories in there that are just speculative nudge, nudge, wink, wink. They need to publicly put out a statement publicly disassociating, saying it wasn’t us or our friends.
“Because if they don’t, people are going to think it was them.”
GB News Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker revealed: “At the moment they haven’t done so. I’ve contacted the Sussexes communication team on a number of occasions this week and I haven’t even received a response, it’s not even a no comment.
“So it’s you know at the moment they’re not commenting either. But I do get the sense that perhaps they could be trying to distance themselves from this book. But you look at Omid’s last book, Finding Freedom, where Meghan apologised to the high courts for forgetting she allowed an aide to brief Omid and his co-author, Carolyn Durant.
“So, you know, there is a a history in the Sussexes club, but there’s no suggestion that the Sussexes have collaborated on this book and Omid Scobie says he is certainly not friends with Megan, not a spokesperson for Meghan and Harry. But he does concede that he has mutual friends.”
