A 16-year-old high school football player has gone viral after footage of him taking to the field left fans stunned.
Immanuel Iheanacho is not set to graduate high school until 2026 but at 6-foot-7 and 340 pounds, the teenager already has colleges clamoring after him.
Iheanacho, a junior at Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, Maryland, is a five-star recruit and ranked as the No. 2 offensive tackle in the class of 2026 per 247sports.
And the hulking tackle has already turned heads with his stature alone, after footage of him was shared to social media.
NFL fan account Dov Kleiman shared a video of Iheanacho suited up in uniform and strolling on to the field, which promptly sent football fans wild.
Many social media users were left in disbelief at Iheanacho’s size, with one posting: ’16 year old? Nah that’s a grown man.’

‘Sure he’s not graduating COLLEGE in 2026? Man this guys a giant,’ another stunned user echoed.
‘He was also the conference offensive player of the year…..as a lineman,’ a third added.
Despite still earning his high school diploma, NFL fans were already getting excited at the thought of Iheanacho entering the league.
‘Could start for the cowboys today,’ one said, before another asked, ‘Can Pats draft him now?!’
However, before NFL teams come calling, Iheanacho has to select a college program – and he isn’t short of options.
Oregon and Georgia are said to currently be the frontrunners but the Ducks may just have the edge.
‘I like coach Terry (Oregon offensive line coach), coach Dan Lanning, really young coach, they’ve been winning games and have products, Penei Sewell and they’ve got some other guys coming up in this draft,’ Iheanacho told On3.
But that doesn’t mean Georgia is out of the running just yet, with Kirby Smart’s ‘Dawgs’ hot on Oregon’s heels.
‘Oregon is my new No. 1, but Georgia is right there at No. 2,’ Iheanacho said. ‘I just love the whole dynamic, the whole campus at Oregon, the practice fields, how the weight room is set up… It was straight love when I got down there. The gear is amazing. That’s not the most important part, but the gear is amazing.’
The likes of Texas A&M, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, Penn State, Tennessee, USC and Virginia Tech are also believed to be on his shortlist.
