Marks & Spencer Foodhalls are now stocking two types of mulled wine for those ready to get into the Christmas spirit.
Shoppers have taken to social media to share their opinions on the new products and many are delighted to make a purchase.
Posting on Instagram, the retailer wrote: “New in the M&S Foodhall – Christmas edition – ready for this year’s hottest new festive tipple?
“From Christmas superfans to wine connoisseurs, there’s a new festive wine on everyone’s lips. Our new White Mulled Wine has become this season’s hot new star and is now available in your local Foodhall.

“A first on the UK high street, the Christmas staple looks and tastes like never before. Packed with pear, vanilla and mulled spice flavour, it’s like a festive hug in a mug (or glass).
“The classic festive fave, Red Mulled Wine, has of course returned to the Foodhall too.
“Which one will you be picking up this Christmas? (Both is of course an acceptable answer!).”
Britons quickly commented on the post. One said it is the “nicest mulled wine” while another added they “cannot wait to try the white version”.
One more added, “my prayers have been answered” and another shopper joked, “it would be rude not to try the new white one”. The White Mulled Wine is available for £6.50, while the standard Mulled Wine costs £6.
Many shoppers alerted loved ones to the new product and tagged their friends, while others simply left positive emojis, such as love hearts.
A shopper said they “definitely need to have a cosy night in with mulled wine” and another replied it was “one for Christmas day”.
Shoppers added it “looks lovely” and that it is “one to try”, while another praised the introduction of mulled white wine, penning, “finally”.
