Marcus Rashford is set to return to the Manchester United squad for Monday night’s game at home to Newcastle.
Rashford has been left out of United’s matchday squad for the last four games by Ruben Amorim, sparking much debate about the forward’s future.
However, as reported by Manchester Evening News, Rashford was seen arriving with the United squad at Old Trafford ahead of the game against Newcastle.
United have a depleted squad for the fixture, with Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw amongst those out injured, while Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte are suspended.
Rashford’s last appearance for United was on December 12 when he played 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.
He was left out of the squad for games against Manchester City, Tottenham, Bournemouth and Wolves.

Rashford, who has spent his entire career at United, indicated that he wanted a fresh challenge after being left out.
Speaking to journalist Henry Winter, Rashford said: ‘For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.
‘When I leave it’s going to be “no hard feelings”. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.
‘If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse.
‘I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.’
Those comments prompted Amorim to question the player’s entourage.
‘It is a hard situation,’ said Amorim. ‘I understand that these players have a lot of people around them, and they sometimes make choices that are not the first idea from the player. I understand, I can separate things.
‘I am always here to help Marcus, as any other player.

‘They have to do what they have to do. They chose to do the interview because it’s not just Marcus. I understand that.’
Rashford, whose United contract runs until the summer of 2028, has made 426 appearances for the club and has scored 138 goals.
United are currently languishing in 14th place in the Premier League and are eager for an upturn in form.
Following the game against Newcastle, United will play league leaders Liverpool away on Sunday.
