A man convicted over a stabbing incident involving a teenager told a judge ‘I’m not a**ed, give me 20 years’ as he appeared in court to be sentenced today.
Shaun Wilkinson was due to be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court this morning, Thursday, over an incident which saw a 15-year-old boy stabbed in the street.
The 31-year-old, of no fixed address, previously pleaded guilty to charges of wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He appeared remotely from HMP Liverpool having also admitted two counts of theft of a pedal cycle from two other victims on July 5 and 27.
However, the hearing had to be adjourned until Tuesday next week, November 26, due to a lack of court time. Upon learning that his sentencing would not proceed, Wilkinson initially left the video link booth.
His counsel Nicola Daley told the court at this stage that her client had “indicated that he may be reluctant to return on another day”, having been warned in advance that the case would likely be unable to proceed today, reports The Echo.
When asked to return by Judge Denis Watson KC, the defendant obliged but then said: “I’m not coming back. I’m not a**ed. I don’t give a f***. Give me 10, 20 years. I’m not bothered.”
Wilkinson was wanted by Merseyside Police in connection with an altercation on Park Street in Liscard, Wirral, at around 6.30pm on Saturday, August 10. A boy aged 15 was reportedly stabbed in the torso and taken to hospital before being discharged after receiving treatment for his injuries.
At the time, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “As part of ongoing inquiries, we want to speak with Shaun Wilkinson, aged 31, because we believe he could have information about the incident. If you see him, please call 999 and do not approach him.”
