Police are appealing for witnesses to a “tragic” incident in which a driver was hit by his own car and fatally injured.
It happened at about 12:15 GMT on 12 December on Mill Lane, Mobberley, Knutsford, Cheshire Police said.
Officers believe the 80-year-old man had just got out of his silver Kia Sportage.
He died later in hospital. His passenger, an 80-year-old woman who was also hit, remains in hospital with serious injuries.
