Man City goalkeeper Ortega agrees to join Forest
Stefan Ortega has agreed to join Nottingham Forest from Manchester City on an initial six-month contract.
The clubs are finalising terms ahead of the German joining Sean Dyche’s squad as number two to Matz Sels.
After struggling to make headway on Jose Sa from Wolves, Sean Dyche’s side enquired about City’s England international James Trafford but the 23-year-old preferred to stay as back-up to Gianluigi Donnarumma. Forest then turned to Ortega.
Forest have lost John Victor for the season after he had knee surgery.
Forest have also made a loan offer to Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi. The deal would include an option to buy.
Oleksandr Zinchenko underwent a medical at Ajax on Friday ahead of sealing his £1.2m move from Arsenal to Ajax.

Norwich City have agreed a deal worth around £3million for Randers FC striker Mohamed Toure.
The Championship club will pay an initial £2.6m fee, with £400,000 worth of add-ons to the Danish Superliga side.
The Australia international, 21, is due to undergo a medical today.
