Lidl has pulled products from shelves that could cause a serious risk for shoppers with an intolerance to sulphites.
The recall is specific to products bought in England, Scotland and Wales.

The recall has been made as it contains sulphites not stated on the packaging.
This can have extreme side effects in some cases.
The affected batches have been removed from shelves and customers with an intolerance should not eat them.
Lidl stated: “Lidl GB is recalling the above-mentioned product due to the potential presence of Sulphur Dioxide.
“If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to Sulphur Dioxide, we advise you not to eat it.
“Customers are asked to return this product to the nearest store where a full refund will be given.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation.

In very rare cases, sulfites can cause a severe allergic reaction. Symptoms can include hives, a fast heartbeat, wheezing, dizziness, sickness and a chest cough, according to Anaphylaxis UK.
