Friends and family of the beloved Liam Payne have come together today to say their final goodbyes and to lay him to rest in Buckinghamshire, one month on from his tragic death.

Liam’s order of service included a leaflet urging people to donate money to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. It has been revealed that during Liam’s final weeks he was raising money for unwell children.

The former One Direction star passed away last month (16 October) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room.

Liam, who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2010, sustained “serious injuries that were incompatible with life”, after falling from a balcony with an inquiry into his death still ongoing.

As part of the heart-breaking order of service, the booklet for Great Ormond Street Hospital was included, as a fitting gesture for the late singer who fundraised for unwell children.

The booklet read: “Thank you for attending the service and thank you for all the kind messages received. Liam would like you to make a donation.

“In memory of Liam we’d like you to consider Great Ormond Street Hospital.” Alongside was a link to the foundation’s page.

Former One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson was seen holding onto the order of service, as he took some time to himself to gather his thoughts after saying goodbye to his friend and former bandmate.

All of the One Direction band members, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, attended to say goodbye to their friend.

Cheryl Cole, who shares seven-year-old son Bear with the late singer, attended the funeral, opting to enter in the back of the church for privacy.

Girls Aloud stars Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh attended to support their friend and band member Cheryl on this difficult day.

Simon Cowell, X-Factor judge and mentor of Liam, was also spotted at the funeral, as well as Liam’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy.

The ceremony was kept private, so that the people who knew Liam could have their space to say goodbye, but fans gathered outside the church premises.

A heart-breaking tribute was left in honour of the 31-year-old singer on behalf of his son, Bear. Flowers were laid at the funeral which said: “Daddy”.
