The latest news of King Charles’ return to public duties has been celebrated and will help his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate continue to recover from cancer away from spotlight.

In a new statement from Buckingham Palace, the King, 75, is confirmed to be returning to royal duties after being diagnosed with a form of cancer two months ago.

With the King back in action, it is hoped the Princess of Wales will have more peace and quiet as she navigates her own recovery.

The princess has stepped back from her public-facing duties as she continues preventative chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer.

The King has always been close with his “beloved” daughter-in-law, but following the announcement of the princess’s cancer diagnosis, a source said that Charles is willing to do “anything he can do” to support her.

The gaps in the Royal family line-up have been apparent over recent months, but now Buckingham Palace has issued a road map for the King’s return to public duties.

Kate – whose absence sparked wide-spread speculation earlier this year – has spent time at home with her family after sharing a video last month revealing her cancer diagnosis.

There has been no further information as to when the Princess of Wales will return to public duties.
