King Charles received a hug from his niece Zara Tindall, as he visited the Royal Windsor Horse Show after returning to official public duties this week.

The King, who is undergoing cancer treatment, made a visit to the show on Friday afternoon.

Looking relaxed and smiling, he embraced his niece at the event in Berkshire, which his late mother Queen Elizabeth II often attended.

It was the King’s third engagement in four days after it was announced last Friday he would be returning to public-facing duties.

On Tuesday, he visited a cancer treatment unit in London where he spoke to patients about the “shock” of hearing a cancer diagnosis.

When asked how he was feeling, he said: “I’m alright, thanks. Not too bad.”
