King Charles and Queen Camilla jetted off to Aberdeen Airport for an anniversary getaway amid the monarch’s cancer treatment.
The King and Queen flew from RAF Northolt in north-west London to visit their Highland retreat, Birkhall, located on the Balmoral Estate.
Together, Charles, 75, and Camilla, 76, celebrated 19 years of marriage.
The King and Queen celebrate their anniversary every year at the retreat, a tradition which began in 2006.

After arriving at Aberdeen Airport, the couple were driven to the late Queen Mother’s home seven miles from the castle.
This is also where King Charles and Queen Camilla spent their honeymoon in 2005.
It is unknown when King Charles and Queen Camilla will return to London from their anniversary getaway.
The visit comes as the King battles an undisclosed form of cancer.

It is unclear if he has completed his treatment programme or is convalescing in between treatments.
The King previously underwent corrective surgery for an enlarged prostate in January.
He spent three nights in the London Clinic, the same hospital where the Princess of Wales stayed following abdominal surgery.
After being released, Buckingham Palace announced that the monarch had been diagnosed with a form of cancer, unrelated to his benign prostate.

Queen Camilla has been a source of constant support for the monarch during this period.
She has massively increased the number of engagements she performs, due to the current shortage of working royals.
Kate, 42, announced she had begun a course of preventative chemotherapy, so has paused public-facing duties.
Prince William, 41, is also stepping back to support his wife and the mother of their three children.
