Princess Kate looked festive in a red Alexander McQueen coat as the Princess of Wales turned to her trusted designer for tonight’s Christmas carol concert.

The mother-of-three beamed as she arrived outside Westminster Abbey for her annual service, which she has held every year since 2021.

Kate, 42, wore a red Alexander McQueen coat designed by her wedding dress designer, Sarah Burton.

Burton announced earlier this year that she was leaving McQueen for Givenchy, suggesting that this coat is a past-season item.

The Princess of Wales also appeared to wear her red tartan skirt by Emilia Wickstead, which she first wore back in 2018.

At the time, the skirt retailed for a whopping £1,450.

Kate accessorised with Amberley Barroque Pearl Earrings from Mulberry this evening, which cost $320 (£250).

Their description says: “Combining traditional jewellery shapes and the silhouette of our iconic Rider’s Lock, the Amberley Baroque collection offers a colourful update on classic pieces.”

The Princess of Wales is expected to be joined by her husband, Prince William, and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Other members of the Royal Family, such as Zara Tindall, Peter Phillips, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie could also be present.

It is not confirmed whether or not King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, will accompany the Waleses to Westminster Abbey.

Last year, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi attended the concert with the princess’s stepson, Wolfie.

Wolfie is Edoardo’s son with his ex-partner, Dara Huang, an American architect.

Zara and Peter often bring their eldest children, who are known to be close with George, Charlotte and Louis.

Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, may also bring along their eldest son, August, three.
