Princess Kate is “looking forward to a change of scene” as she leaves her Windsor home for the first time since her operation.
The Princes of Wales has been recovering from an abdominal surgery at Adelaide Cottage after spending almost two weeks in hospital.
Kate went away with her three children and her husband, Prince William, for a half-term holiday in Norfolk.
On Thursday, the family travelled to Sandringham estate where the King is also staying.

A source said: “She [Kate] was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William.”
On January 17, Kensington Palace revealed that Kate “is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
The source told the Daily Mail that “Catherine is recovering well.”
The princess is now well enough to travel for the first time from Windsor to Sandringham.
