Prince William and Kate have been spending their downtime watching Netflix’s hit series Black Doves.

During the visit, 14-year-old Dylan Potter caught the Prince’s attention by wearing two Christmas jumpers, leading to a light-hearted exchange.

There, William revealed he and Kate, 42, have been sitting down to watch Netflix’s Black Doves, which stars Kiera Knightley and has flown to the top of the charts.

The teenager’s question provided a rare insight into the Prince’s personal life and leisure activities.

The eight-part thriller series “Black Doves” has already made a significant impact, achieving a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes within a day of its release.

The series features Keira Knightley as Helen Webb, an agent who passes on secrets of her politician husband, played by Andrew Buchan.

Following Prince William’s revelation, Netflix’s official account celebrated the royal endorsement, tweeting: “Black Doves gets the royal seal of approval.”

Royal fans quickly responded to the news of William and Kate’s Netflix viewing habits.

The series has notably lacked the traditional press promotion associated with Sussex-linked content.

The couple did not conduct any interviews to advertise the series either together or individually.

Industry expert Sean McNulty, a Hollywood veteran, told The Daily Beast: “The lack of a proper, visible press campaign for a series from Harry & Meghan raises an eyebrow to say the least.”

According to McNulty, this suggests the polo series “could very well disappear into the Netflix ether quite quickly.”
