Kaleb Cooper stepped into the spotlight after making his television debut on Clarkson’s Farm back in 2021, going on to become a household name.

Starring in the show alongside former Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson, the 26-year-old is usually seen on the series arguing with the 64-year-old, with Cooper ultimately imparting his agricultural prowess.

While Cooper definitely seems to have a successful future ahead of him, the young farmer has admitted it hasn’t always been this way.

He recently confessed that getting into farming “saved” him, detailing why he’d be “horrible if farming didn’t come along”.

“When my mum and dad went through a tricky divorce, mum struggled to pay the rent and I went out to get a job,” he explained.

The father-of-one continued while talking to Heat magazine: “From what I knew about farming, it just appealed to me. I got my first job when I was just 12 and by age 13 I had my own business.”

“Farming saved me as a person. I think I’d be horrible if farming didn’t come along, because the divorce wasn’t nice and I became a bit of an a***hole,” Gloucestershire Live reports.

Thankfully, things are looking promising for Cooper as he continues to assist Clarkson in the 1,000 acre Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.

The show launched its third series earlier this year, with filming for series four having already begun.

Taking to Instagram on earlier this month, Cooper shared even more exciting news about his career.

Taking to Instagram, Cooper shared Prime Video’s announcement post, which read: “Your favourite farmer parked his tractor and took to the stage.

“Watch Kaleb on tour in #TheWorldAccordingToKaleb arriving on Prime Video 29th November.”

Cooper began his The World According to Kaleb tour at the start of the year and has travelled the UK to different venues to share his stories.

The show gives fans a chance to see Cooper’s breakout theatre tour, with the show named after the tour itself.

Cooper began his The World According to Kaleb tour at the start of the year and has travelled the UK to different venues to share his stories.

The tour promotion reads: “Fans can expect Kaleb’s strong views on many things – including sheep (‘stupid’), Jeremy Clarkson (f****** idiot’), goats (‘they’re a proper good clear-up animal – they eat everything – no wonder they taste horrible’), New York (‘if it’s like London where there are no tractors, that’s no good’), famous people, why farming is the best job in the world and, crucially, sartorial matters such as hairstyles – especially his own!

“Despite his surprise status as a household name, Kaleb is still the same down to earth, hard-working farmer, with his feet firmly on the ground.

“He will give audiences the chance to participate in some rather interesting rural pastimes during the show, as well as highlighting some of the many challenges that British farmers face today and perhaps share how we can all help to make a difference and support them.”

It didn’t take long for Cooper’s fan base to congratulate him, with many labelling him a “natural” at what he does.
