Jet2 has advised of operational changes that will affect travellers flying between October 27 and November 3.

This will affect flights going to Naples Airport. Flight tickets will not be affected.

The airline warned flights going to Naples will be operated from an alternate airport.

Jet2 stated: “Due to operational issues beyond our control at Naples Airport, between October 27 and November 3, 2024 inclusive, all our Naples flights will be operated to and from Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport.”

While the airport will change, holidaymakers will not need to do anything with the tickets they have purchased.

The airline continued: “Just so you know, our booking and pre-departure systems, including Manage My Booking and any boarding passes, will still show flights at Naples Airport. Your flight number will stay the same.”

This comes as the airline has ongoing advice for those travelling with them. It encouraged Britons to be organised to ensure everything goes smoothly with their flights.

It added: “Please check the website at least 12 hours before your flight for the latest flight information.

“Further information can be found by using the above search panel by entering your flight number or route.

“We recommend arriving at the airport at least two hours before your scheduled departure time. Please remember – check-in desks close 40 minutes before this.

“In the event of flight disruption our dedicated Operations teams are working hard behind the scenes at our UK-based HQ to get you on your way as soon as possible.”

This comes as Britons were given fresh travel guidance if they are visiting Iceland.

Holidaymakers have been reminded of things they could be fined for breaking laws they are not aware of.

This includes fines that could be issued for using a scooter under the influence of alcohol.

The FCDO stated: “Riding a scooter after consuming alcohol is prohibited by law in Iceland.

“The same law as driving a car under the influence applies and will result in a fine and/or charges.”
