Jeremy Corbyn has been tipped to decide in just “weeks” whether to launch a new political movement to rival Keir Starmer’s Labour Party.
According to friends of the former Labour leader, Corbyn could launch a new party which could take voters dissatisfied with the current Labour Party away from Starmer.

Voters could also be swayed by Starmer’s backtracking on environmental pledges.
“There’s many people concerned about what’s happening in Gaza, not just Muslim voters,” insiders told Mail Online.
“But it would be wider than that.
“It could tap into environmental concerns with Starmer now backtracking on his commitment to spend £28billion a year greening the country.

Corbyn was previously banned from standing as a Labour candidate following an antisemitism row in the party while he was leader.
He has instead been tipped to run as an independent at the next election in his Islington North seat.
One friend of Corbyn continued to say that he was seriously considering launching a new political party and added that his “anti-war movement” would “resonate across the country”.
