Tommy Robinson Arrested at March Against Antisemitism in London

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, the founder of the English Defence League, and better known as Tommy Robinson, was arrested during a march against antisemitism in London on Sunday, November 26.This footage, filmed by Ajay Jagota, shows Robinson being restrained and escorted away by police.A post on Tommy Robinson’s official X account released after his arrest said that “we are looking at suing the police for their actions today.”Robinson was “spoken to and warned on more than one occasion that his continued presence in the area was likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress to others,” according to the Telegraph, citing the Metropolitan Police.In a video on X, Robinson said he was there “to do a report, to do my job, that’s it.”Robinson then asked a woman, “have you got any alarm and distress to me being here?” The woman replies, “No.”The march started from the Royal Courts of Justice and headed toward Parliament Square, where speeches took place, the Metropolitan Police said.Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson was among those who took part, according to the BBC.
