Jadon Sancho has arrived back in Germany with the forward finally set to complete his return to Borussia Dortmund on loan.
Manchester United and Dortmund have been locked in talks for over a week and a breakthrough has now been made with Sancho ready for a medical before signing until the end of the season.
The deal is a straight loan with no option to buy, and is expected to be completely imminently.
Footage was shared on social media by Ruhr Nachrichten BVB of the 23-year-old landing in Dortmund on Tuesday evening.
The move is set to benefit all parties after Sancho was exiled by United manager Erik ten Hag, with Dortmund set to pay a chunk of his wages and pay a small fee to the Red Devils.

Dortmund had been looking to close a deal for Sancho in time for their training camp in Marbella next week.
Sancho has been embroiled in a feud with Ten Hag after being publicly criticised by his boss last September.
The Dutchman had exiled him from training with his team-mates after the 23-year-old hit back at the manager’s claims that he had been dropped for his ‘training performance’ back in September on social media.
The England winger, who joined United for £73million in 2021 from Dortmund, has subsequently not played for United since their 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest back in August, with United confirming on September 14 that the winger would not be training with the main group.
He subsequently spent time training on his own and with members of the Man United academy.

Sancho has also re-activated his Instagram account and posted a cryptic message to supporters, changing his profile picture to him in his Dortmund days.
While he has no posts on his account, his 9.7million followers have now been given the clearest sign yet that the move is all but done.
