If you’re a fan of a pint of Guinness – or even of Netflix’s new series exploring its historical origins – you’re in luck.

You can get in on all the House of Guinness drama for yourself, as a real-life experience is set to open in London this December.

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London will launch on December 11, boasting a host of experiences – including a tasting room, two restaurants and a ‘pour your own pint’ masterclass.

The huge 54,000 square-foot venue will be located on the site of the historic Old Brewer’s Yard in London’s Covent Garden and will offer visitors a world-leading microbrewing facility with limited edition brews.

There will be two restaurants run by esteemed chef Pip Lacey, casual courtyard dining with pints and pies by chef Calum Franklin, event spaces and exclusive merchandise on offer.

Tickets will be released in November and are sure to be popular among beer and Guinness lovers.

You’ll be able to try out a range of rotating, limited-edition craft brews and seasonal specials, including non-stout varieties and low-alcohol options.

Options including Premium Lager, Session IPA, Pale Ale and Porter will be available on site on a permanent basis.

There’s more to see and do than drink, though.

The ‘Step into the Pint’ event offers an immersive 360-degree experience that tells the story of Guinness’ heritage.

Plus, you can get exclusive brewery access, with a guided tour of the brand’s working brewery.

If you want to try your hand at the art of pouring, you’ll be able to try the ‘pour your own pint’ masterclass at the exclusive 232 Bar.

The first main restaurant to choose from during your visit will be Gilroy’s Loft – with a menu featuring line-caught fish and freshly shucked, native oysters, served in a stunning rooftop location with skyline views across London.

The second option is The Porter’s Table, which offers fresh British produce, including meat.

There will be an outdoor seating area which can host events and pop-ups spanning arts, music and special cultural occasions. An exclusive private dining room will also be available to hire.

For big Guinness fans, merchandise will be on offer at the site’s two stores, Guinness Good Things and The Store. You’ll be able to buy limited-edition merchandise and custom experiences as well as bestselling Guinness merchandise, apparel and fan favourites.

The Guinness Vaults will also offer an underground, multifunctional, private-hire event space, which will also host community and consumer events from 2026 – spanning music, culture and entertainment.

Deb Caldow, Guinness GB marketing director, said: ‘The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London has been years in the making, and we’re thrilled that the moment has almost arrived. We can’t wait to welcome Londoners and visitors from around the UK and the world.

‘We consider this Guinness’ home in the UK, hosted in the country’s dynamic capital city.

‘It will be a place to celebrate heritage, embrace innovation, and invite visitors to discover new flavours, experiences, and stories. Good things really are coming.’
