The New York Mets sent fans in Milwaukee and back home in the Big Apple wild after pulling of a miracle comeback win Thursday night.

Pete Alonso hit a clutch three-run homer in the ninth inning to overturn a two-run deficit and clinch the series win over the Milwaukee Brewers, sealing a spot in the divisional round of the MLB playoffs.

While their players raucously celebrated in Milwaukee, so did their fans back home in New York City.

Although there was no action on the diamond at Citi Field, fans still gathered at the ballpark to watch the crunch series finale.

And, as Alonso fired the Mets into the National League Divisional Series, the atmosphere inside Citi Field was just as rowdy as a normal gameday.

In a clip shared on ESPN’s broadcast, a sea of blue and orange could be seen going wild as the comeback kids pulled off the unbelievable once again.
