I’m A Celeb fans echo Farage’s ‘fix’ claims as they rage at first eliminated star: ‘How the hell!’

A number of I’m A Celebrity viewers are fuming with the results of the first elimination of the series, including many who’ve branded the results a “fix”.

Ant and Dec arrived at the camp during Sunday’s episode to deliver the results and after getting through everyone’s names, it was revealed Frankie Dettori and Nella Rose were at risk.

After a tense few moments, the Geordie presenting duo announced it was Dettori who was going home, prompting the jockey to celebrate.

As he said his goodbyes to his campmates, Nigel Farage was in disbelief as he joked it was a “fix” as Dettori was the “last one in and first one” to leave.

And Farage isn’t alone in his thinking as several I’m A Celeb viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to slam the results – with some thinking the wrong person out of the final two went home.

“How the hell did frankie go before #nellarose. #FIX #ImaCeleb,” one fan fumed on the social media site.

A second echoed: “What a fix I’m a celebrity was… how can Frankie leave before Nella…gutted he’s left #ImaCeleb.”

While a third weighed in: “What the actual hell.. Yes Nigel is right, it’s a fix! Wrong person left! #ImACeleb.”

Another added: “Frankie is out wtf!! It’s not Nella what is wrong with ppl #ImACelebrity #ImaCeleb.”

A fifth also demanded: “#ImaCeleb what a bl**dy fix, can you show us the vote count please.”

However, there were plenty of Rose’s supporters who were revelling in the fact the YouTuber has survived the first public vote despite sparking backlash with some viewers throughout the series so far.

“Yesss Nella!!!! She survives another day. Let the haters hate #ImACeleb,” one supporter argued.

While a second explained: “Fix is word of the day when a vote doesn’t go the way people want. It was never going to be Nella when it’s vote to save, will always be the furniture who don’t get shown much so people don’t bother voting for them #imaceleb #imacelebrity.” (sic)

But Dettori seemed to have no hard feelings about leaving first as he told Ant and Dec over a glass of bubbly: “It’s been so surreal, what an adventure. It really hit me when we got the letters. You forget there is a world out there and people are out there watching you.

“Emotions are up and down, I have been dieting for 30 years but this takes it to another level.

“You just need some fuel in your stomach, you feel your body shutting down. So every time you get the rice it puts you back up. It has been challenging, I will be honest with you.”

With Dettori now voted out and Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent withdrawing from the show, just nine celebs remain.

GB News’ very own Farage remains in the running and there are a number of ways you can show your support and vote to keep him in the jungle here.
