Iceland Foods has cut prices on hundreds of everyday items to support households affected by Storm Chandra.
The severe weather system has brought heavy snowfall, strong winds and intense rainfall to large parts of the UK, causing widespread disruption across many towns and cities.
UK residents have been advised to ensure they have sufficient supplies for three days as the wintry conditions take hold.
Both Iceland stores and The Food Warehouse locations are participating in the promotional campaign, with offers available through online shopping and in physical shops.
The frozen food specialist is also offering same-day delivery, allowing customers to receive essential items without leaving their homes during the severe weather.
An Iceland spokesperson said: “With Storm Chandra expected to hit hard this week, we’re temporarily reducing prices in key cities to help households stock up quickly and affordably.
“When severe weather is on the way, the last thing shoppers should have to worry about is the cost of everyday essentials.”
Cities include:
- Manchester
- Liverpool
- Carlisle
- Birmingham
- Stoke-on-Trent
- Salford
- Chester
- Lancaster
- Dundee
- Perth
- Stirling
- Bangor
- St Asaph
- Belfast
- Derry
- Lisburn
The move comes as communities across the UK continue to face significant disruption from flooding in the wake of Storm Chandra.
Travel has been badly affected in recent days, with road closures and flight cancellations after exceptionally heavy rainfall left large areas underwater.
