A “mile long” fire has broken out in the Gower area of Swansea as photos show huge orange flames and plumes of smoke.
Emergency services remain at the scene to tackle the blaze which is reportedly “growing”.
Witnesses say the fire can be “at least a mile wide” and “absolutely massive”.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed the fire is not affecting any properties.
The fire service were called to the scene at 4.30pm this afternoon and say the blaze is around 300 metres away from the nearest property.
Chiefs say the force will likely remain at the scene for a period of time into the evening.
The MP for the area has urged people to stay away from the fire.
Tonia Antoniazzi wrote on Twitter: “Please stay safe and away from all danger this evening.”
