Eating well and maintaining an active lifestyle are two core components of losing weight.

Women’s weight loss coach Jenna Rizzo shared her top tips for fast and sustainable results. She encouraged slimmers to increase their step count.

Jenna (known as @jennaaaamariee on TikTok) took to the sharing platform to share her expertise.

She said: “If I woke up tomorrow 20lb (1st 6lb) heavier and wanted it off before the holidays, this is exactly how I would do it.”

According to the expert, daily walks are a must

Jenna stressed the importance of upping your daily steps if you want to see results. She said: “I would make daily walks a non-negotiable.

“I’m pretty busy, so I don’t mean take hour-long walks every day. But I know I can get in at least two 10 to 15-minute walks every day.”

As for how much slimmers should walk for fast weight loss and belly fat reduction, the ideal number of minutes has been revealed.

The NHS told slimmers: “Walking is simple, free and one of the easiest ways to get more active, lose weight and become healthier.

“Sometimes overlooked as a form of exercise, walking briskly can help you build stamina, burn excess calories and make your heart healthier.

“You do not have to walk for hours. A brisk 10-minute daily walk has lots of health benefits and counts towards your 150 minutes of weekly exercise, as recommended in the physical activity guidelines for adults aged 19 to 64.”

Tips for quick and easy weight loss

  1. Tell friends and family about your weight loss goals
  2. Strength train at least three times per week
  3. Make daily walks a non-negotiable
  4. Track your calories and protein consumption
  5. Go to bed on time

According to the weight loss expert, another way women can slim down is to get enough shut-eye.

Advising women to get a minimum of seven hours of sleep each day, Jenna said: “I am going to bed on time every single night.

“Sleep is an underrated key to fat loss. Consistently getting less than seven hours of sleep at night will decrease your body’s ability to naturally burn fat – so I would make seven hours my minimum requirement.”

A GP confirmed the importance of sleep for those who want to “supercharge” their weight loss.

The doctor explained that a bad night’s sleep can have a major effect on the diet choices we make the next day.

Indeed, when a person is tired, they are likely to reach for late-night snacks that are higher in carbohydrates and fats.

Jenna also revealed the five foods and drinks you need to avoid if you want to see weight loss results.
