Former Neighbours star Holly Valance has confirmed she is considering running for Reform UK at the next General Election.
Valance, 41, is a major supporter of the populist party and even took credit for Nigel Farage returning as leader ahead of his victory in Clacton on July 4.
The actress, who is married to property tycoon Nick Candy, was tipped to stand against Tory Party chairman Richard Holden in Basildon & Billericay.
However, Valance ruled herself out of the contest after claiming the “logistics” were too difficult.

Speaking to GB News for Chopper’s Political Podcast, Valance appeared to fuel further speculation about her political ambitions.
Leaving the door open to a run for Parliament, Valance told GB News: “If at some point over the next five years, that becomes more realistic then I’d revisit that. But right now I’m just supporting from the sidelines.”
She added: “Right now it’s not even on my radar.”
Valance also shared her reasons for not running on July 4.

She said: “It’s something that I think is an incredibly serious, important job. It was not right for me at the time.”
Valance revealed she had just 48 hours to decide whether or not to run in Basildon & Billericay.
The 41-year-old also suggested she would prefer to run in a seat which she knows well.
“It would be better to represent perhaps my area, where I know how the community lives, where the crime is, where the things are that aren’t working for our community,” Valance said.
Despite ruling herself out of standing last time, Valance continued to play a major role in Reform UK.
The former Neighbours actress hosted a fundraising bash for Farage in West London earlier this month.
The gathering aimed at broadening Reform UK’s support, with opinion polls suggesting the populist party is benefiting from a post-election surge.
The latest Techne opinion poll put Reform UK’s support at 18 per cent, four-points up compared to the election result.
