Green Party leader Zack Polanski has sparked fury after scheduling his Christmas message to coincide with the release of King Charles’s at 3pm tomorrow.
Mr Polanski, who unashamedly supports abolishing the Royal Family, slated his video message to air when millions will sit down to hear from the monarch.
The decision sparked outrage on social media, with Sir Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch releasing their respective festive messages in advance of the King.
“Disrespectful egotistical nonsense from Polanski,” said one Labour activist on social media.
A second social media user asked: “Who does he think he is?”
“I’m not a monarchist, but that’s too disrespectful,” a third added.
However, an unabashed socialist welcomed the move, writing: “This feels so refreshing.”
The King’s Speech, which is a tradition dating back to King George V in 1932, was this year recorded at Westminster Abbey.

PAWhile Sir Keir’s message touched upon the loss of his brother and Mrs Badenoch opened up on the “biggest challenge of my life”, Mr Polanski is also expected to make migration a cornerstone of his festive message.
Mr Polanski will appeal for £476million of taxpayers’ money currently being spent on “cruelty” to go towards a new system based on “compassion, kindness and humanity”.
The Green leader is expected to say: “This has to stop – the constant political rhetoric and demonisation of people who are just trying to survive in unimaginable living conditions.
“I don’t believe we’re the country who the media paint us to be.

“I don’t believe that we’re cruel and heartless. And I don’t believe that if people saw what I’ve seen in recent days, they would turn away.”
He will add: “We should be diverting that money to a humanitarian and compassionate response.
“The rhetoric we hear about ‘stopping the boats’ and ‘smashing the gangs’ – none of this is working.”
In the run-up to the festive period, Mr Polanski spent three days in Calais, where he will say he witnessed French police, paid for by British taxpayers, slashing tents and confiscating wood used by sheltering migrants to keep warm.

PAMr Polanski is also expected to acknowledge his Christmas message is “unusual” before calling for donations to the charity Calais Appeal.
Despite Mr Polanski’s pro-migration stance, polls show a majority of Britons want Channel crossings to end.
More than 41,000 have crossed in 2025 so far, making it the second-worst year for illegal arrivals via small boats on record.
Sir Keir went into the 2024 General Election promising to “smash the gangs”, while ex-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak vowed to “stop the boats”.

GETTYReform UK leader Nigel Farage is also taking a tough stance to ensure the end of the migrant crisis.
Mr Farage has promised to deport 600,000 migrants and bar anyone who comes to the UK on small boats from claiming asylum.
However, Mr Polanski is winning over left-wing voters who feel alienated by Sir Keir’s push to curb Channel crossings.
The Green Party now regularly hits the high-teens in the opinion polls, with a large chunk of its newfound support coming from ex-Labour voters.
