Two more people have been charged with attempted murder after a 19-year-old man was shot in the street earlier this month.

The teenager was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries after the shooting on Hampden Crescent in the Gorton area of Manchester at about 17:45 BST on 7 October.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said on Friday that Kavon Haselden-Hoyle, 26, and a 17-year-old boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – had been charged.

They were both due to appear on Saturday at Manchester Magistrates’ Court, accused of attempted murder, conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or enable another to do so.
