Woods was wanted on recall to prison for an earlier dangerous driving sentence at the time.
He ran red lights at up to 70mph, hit 90mph on “narrow, winding” roads, and drove towards oncoming traffic, causing other drivers to swerve.
His female passenger managed to climb out of the wrecked car after it hit the garden wall and landed on its roof at about 21:30 BST on 5 December.
Sergeant Sam Brown of West Yorkshire Police said Woods was driving “completely recklessly and dangerously”.
“It was only by a sheer miracle that no one was seriously injured or killed,” he added.
The collision destroyed a bus stop and a telegraph pole.
The court heard how in January 2023 he was jailed for two years and disqualified after causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Judge Jonathan Gibson told Woods via a prison video link that he was “clearly a very highly dangerous person” when behind the wheel.
He was banned again from driving for two years and eight months and must pass an extended driving test.
