On Sunday night, Jones’ struggles continued as he was shut down by the Bengals defense in their 17-7 loss at home.

After failing to throw a single touchdown in the prime-time showdown, Giants fans ripped their quarterback to shreds on social media.

‘Daniel Jones on prime time is the worst QB in the history of the sport,’ one fan wrote.

Daniel Jones (L) was slammed by Giants fans after an embarrassing performance on Sunday

Jones’ struggles continued as he was sacked four times against the Cincinnati Bengals

‘It’s because of Daniel Jones that they’re not ready for primetime,’ a third insisted. ‘He doesn’t inspire confidence.’

‘You literally cannot convince me that Daniel Jones is not the FKN problem here. I’ve known it since the FKN day we drafted him. ENOUGH,’ a fourth added.

Meanwhile, a fifth fan wrote how: ‘Listening to all the post-game interviews, it’s clear that Daniel Jones has lost the @giants locker room. He’s awful. Just awful.’

The fans’ concerns about Jones folding under the bright lights reflect on his 1-14 record in primetime games.

On Sunday, Jones completed 22 of 41 attempts for 205 yards. Failing to throw a touchdown for the third game this season, he was also sacked twice.

Fans took to social media to call Jones the ‘worst quarterback in the history of football’

He came into the game following a 257-yard, two-touchdown performance in a 29-20 win over Seattle. However, his overall numbers this season prolong the cries from their fanbase.

Across six games, Jones has completed 136 of 219 passes for 1,343 touchdowns for just six touchdowns. Unfortunately, he had been intercepted four times and been on the receiving end of 14 sacks – including five on opening day against the Vikings.

The Giants are now 2-4 this season as they gear up to face the Eagles on the 20th and the Steelers on the 28th to close out October.
