Super Bowl winner Chandler Jones attempted to call Tom Brady for help after being detained by Arizona police last year, new bodycam footage shows.

Officers were called to Jones’ home on November 27, 2023 after concerns were raised about his mental health.

Footage obtained by TMZ shows Jones, a 34-year-old former All-Pro defensive end, talking to cops on his driveway wearing just his underwear and socks.

Officers initially spoke to a woman outside the house and Jones later accused her dogs of biting him but refused to press charges. He also said they’d had sex.

But when one officer tried to talk to an emotional Jones about people’s concerns for his wellbeing, the former defensive end’s attitude changed.

The pair were teammates in New England for four seasons, winning the Super Bowl in Arizona

He can be heard telling officers to ‘get the f*** out of here’ before going back inside the house.

After remerging on the driveway, Jones sat down to listen to officers and they asked if he’d be willing to go to a medical facility. He refused and tried to call his brother – UFC superstar Jon Jones.

‘It kind of hurts me as a celebrity to come to my mansion and someone is telling me to go to a psych ward,’ he says.

The footage also shows Jones filming the encounter on his iPad. As one officer suggests taking him to a medical facility, a scuffle ensues.

‘Mr. Jones, we’ve got to talk about why we’re here now,’ one officer is seen saying before a voice, presumably belonging to Jones, begins screaming.

‘Wait!’ Jones is heard yelling as officers approached him. ‘Wait, no!’

One officer is heard telling Jones that they are ‘there to help’ but the shaky footage cuts out shortly after.

Curiously, the former Arizona Cardinals defensive end, tagged rapper Meek Mill in the video

The police allow Jones to call whoever he wants and he decides to call Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl winner and his former New England Patriots teammate. The footage does not show Brady answering the call, however.

The pair were teammates in New England for four seasons, winning Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona against the Seattle Seahawks.

After finally getting hold of someone on his iPad, officers explained they were taking him away although Jones was still adamant he didn’t want to go.

He finally got up and walked with the officers to their vehicle and, according to TMZ, he was taken to a local psychiatric facility ‘without further issues’.

Jones eventually posted the footage that he filmed with his iPad on Instagram in December 2023.

Curiously, he tagged rapper Meek Mill in the video he posted of the incident and mentioned him in the caption: ‘Somebody save me ”Meek me” voice.’

It was the latest in a string of run-ins Jones had with law enforcement last year.

Jones was arrested in September 2023 for violating a domestic violence temporary protection order

Jones was released by the Raiders in September 2023 after his arrest on two charges of violating a domestic violence protective order

He was arrested on two charges of violating a domestic violence protective order in September 2023 before getting released by the Raiders two days later.

Jones also claimed he was taken involuntarily to a mental health hospital by the Las Vegas fire department and said he had been injected against his will and forced to sleep on the floor.

In that same month, he appeared to suggest that then Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels somehow staged Aaron Hernandez’s 2017 suicide in a Massachusetts prison.

Hernandez, a New England Patriots tight end, hanged himself in 2017 following his arrest and conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd. McDaniels worked directly with Hernandez during the troubled star’s three-year career from 2010 until 2012.

Jones was a first-round draft pick by the Patriots out of Syracuse in 2012. He spent four seasons in New England before playing six with the Arizona Cardinals.

He signed a $51million contract with the Raiders in March 2022, playing 15 times that season before being released.
