Former Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond has died at the age of 69.
Salmond led Scotland as First Minister from 2007 to 2014.
Salmond delivered a speech in North Macedonia earlier this morning.
He resigned after attempting to convince Scots to support independence in the 2014 referendum.
The ex-First Minister later returned to Westminster, serving as the MP for Gordon from 2015 to 2017.
