A South Australian-based footy player is set to make his reality TV debut on the upcoming series of Channel Nine’s hit dating show Love Island Australia.
Kane Godlevsky, 23, is a strapping young football star who plays for Lockleys in the Adelaide Football League and is set to become the show’s footy bad boy.
The hunky athlete has a day job as a carpenter and hopes to find his first love on the show, as he has never before been in a serious relationship.
‘All my friends have said I’d be good on a show like this. Even my parents have said they can see me on it,’ Kane told Adelaide Now.
‘It’s something I’ve always thought about doing. So to apply for the first time and make it is amazing.’
Kane is one of 14 good-looking singles who will be appearing on series six of the long-running reality series hosted by Sophie Monk, which is filmed in a luxurious Spanish villa.
He added he gets on well with a variety of women, so was open-minded about forming a connection with any of the ladies he was introduced to.
‘In terms of looks, I go for both blondes and brunettes. And someone I can have a really good laugh with. I just haven’t found the one that would be good for me.’

Earlier this month, Channel Nine announced the raunchy new season of dating series LIA is set to drop on Monday, October 28.
It comes after the entire cast of the 2024 season was accidentally leaked by Channel Nine.
Eagle-eyed fans on the show noticed new Love Islander profiles were added to the 9Now website, and posted the information to Reddit.
The 9Now site has since deleted these sites, but the new contestants on the reality dating show set the internet ablaze with speculation.

Fans can expect the action to heat up this year as sources have revealed the 2024 series will feature a world first X-rated twist which causes a huge ‘fallout’.
Channel Nine’s season six will introduce Hotel Amor which allows contestants to hook-up and partner-swap without cameras on them.
