Florida police who were called after homeowners heard what they believed to be gunshots instead found a small “pupper-trator” on December 16, footage shows.

Body camera footage shows officers knocking on the front door of a home with an attached business in Bradenton. Police posted the video to Facebook with a spin on the classic ’Twas the Night Before Christmas poem.

Police are seen locating the source of the noises – the family’s small puppy, which had gotten stuck among stowed items.

“I think I found the culprit,” an officer is heard saying as he holds the tiny dog in one hand.

“You said you heard voices?” an officer says to the family waiting outside.

“Oh, that’s our baby,” a woman responds. The officer explains the dog was found among stored ceiling lights, which had broken. Laughing, the woman translates into Spanish for her family to understand and takes the puppy in her arms. Credit: Bradenton Police Department via Storyful
