Hollywood star Kate Beckinsale has revealed shocking images of injuries she suffered while performing her own stunts in her latest film.

The 51-year-old British actress posted photos of painful-looking wounds on social media, showing bruised elbows, grazed knees and damaged fingers.

Beckinsale, who plays CIA operative Avery Graves in thriller Canary Black, posted the images after reports suggested she had relied on a stunt double for all but close-up shots.

The Underworld star was spotted wearing a rib brace in one photo, while others revealed extensive bruising across her torso and limbs. She also shared footage of herself performing challenging stunts, including a backwards wall climb using a harness.

“Kicking impeccably chic ass 🩷and a couple of close ups doesn’t half hurt lol,” wrote Beckinsale alongside the evidence of her hands-on approach.

The actress’s posts sparked concern among fans, who had already expressed worry over her health following earlier hospital photographs. One wrote: “Sorry to say this Kate, but you do look a bit thin. You always striked a great balance … But when your cheekbones start to show, the balance is lost.”

In Canary Black, Beckinsale portrays a CIA agent forced to choose between betraying her country and saving her kidnapped husband from terrorists. The film is currently streaming on Prime Video.
