Elon Musk’s father has told GB News that his son should donate $100million to Reform UK to ensure the party’s victory in the next General Election.
Musk suggested that the world’s richest man might even consider becoming a British citizen to facilitate such a donation.
Following his public criticisms of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, it has been claimed that the X and SpaceX owner was considering making the substantial financial contribution to help Nigel Farage become Prime Minister.
Speaking to Nana Akua on GB News, Errol Musk endorsed the potential donation, stating: “Look, I think it’s a good idea. If it’s not something he’s not allowed to do, I would say as a private person, maybe he’s allowed to do that.”

Elon Musk has previously shown support for Reform UK, recently endorsing a social media post claiming the party would “win the next election” with a simple “yes”.
The billionaire and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage share what the latter describes as “a good relationship”.
Any potential donation would likely be made through X, formerly known as Twitter, to navigate laws governing political donations by foreign individuals.
Errol Musk elaborated on the potential donation, suggesting that financial barriers shouldn’t prevent Reform UK’s progress.
“I’m eligible for British citizenship, so is he, I suppose,” he said, discussing ways his son could potentially make the contribution.

“If the thing that’s stopping Farage from moving ahead is money, then he should get money so that he can move ahead,” he stated.
He emphasised the importance of ensuring any donation would be legally compliant.
“You would have to make sure he’s not doing something that is not good. He must do the right thing,” Musk cautioned.

“What’s happened in England is just totally un-English,” he declared.
He expressed concern about England’s role as a global example, stating: “We all see England as a parent country. We look to England for guidance.”
“Half the most famous people in the last few 100 years, at least, came from England,” he added.
He lamented the current state of British leadership, saying: “What we’re seeing there now is nothing but a bad example and a man who’s now in a position as Prime Minister and his cabinet, I suppose, who seemed to have a very contrary [attitude].”
