EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (November 18), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders’ Elaine Peacock got a huge surprise during her hen night in the show’s latest episode.

Elaine’s wedding to George Knight is fast approaching, with the pair putting the previous drama with Cindy behind them ahead of the big day.

In today’s episode, the happy couple prepared for their respective hen and stag dos, with Johnny telling Elaine that the theme of her night at The Vic was ‘glamour’.

The joyous mood shifted when Linda entered, evidently hungover from another night of drinking, and Elaine continued to be concerned about her daughter.

Anna looked unhappy when Elaine spoke about no-one being left out, and later she told her she was upset that Cindy wasn’t coming to the wedding. Elaine reluctantly agreed to invite her to both the hen night and the wedding, with Ian going to George’s stag do.

Elaine extended an invitation to Cindy, asking her to be there for George and the girls, and Cindy eventually accepted.

Later at the pub, Junior complimented Cindy, but she remained adamant that their relationship was over and Ian was everything she needs.

As Elaine arrived for her big night, Johnny told his grandmother that he wanted the evening to be special for her. He later saw the drag queen he hired, Drew Peacock, getting ready for their performance.

Meanwhile, at the Boxing Den, there was tension between Junior and Ian when he arrived at George’s stag do. Junior sought to get Ian drunk, and George was annoyed with his son when Ian had to be dragged out.

Elaine was in high spirits on her hen night and took to the stage for karaoke. Johnny then introduced the entertainment, and she was thrilled as Drew took to the stage.

But it soon became clear that the pair recognised each other, and Elaine screamed at Drew to get out of the pub.

How do they know each other – and why has seeing Drew made Elaine so upset?
